Studio access
The studio is located at 1984 NOTRE-DAME DE FATIMA, LAVAL, on the ground floor of a commercial condo (next to Mont Blanc reception hall). Street parking is always available (no meters). Wheelchair accessible (no steps).
Upon arrival, if the door is locked, a KEYPAD is near the entrance. Enter the code received by text. The RED light will turn GREEN, unlocking the door and disarming the alarm. The door locks automatically: re-enter your code if you leave. You may arrive/depart 5 minutes before or after your booking; otherwise, a 30-minute block will be deducted from your deposit.
The space
You can leave your COATS at the entranceREMOVE YOUR SHOES/BOOTS so you don’t dirty the floor if they are dirty/wet (you are responsible for cleaning otherwise)The LIGHT switch is on the wall to the right when entering the lounge, and to the right of the two sliding doors in the studioThere is another one at the back of the studio, on the right, just after the closed room, near the wall-mounted softboxesFor the makeup mirrors, the switch is to their leftThe BATHROOM is the door to your left after the kitchen.

Flashes and tripods are at the back of the studio in the metal rack.
The TRIGGER is on the makeup table. IMPORTANT: return it to avoid losing your deposit.
Natural light is available via large windows, OR use the LED wall (plugged into the wall).
Flashes work with a receiver connected to the power cord and communicate with the trigger. Do NOT change channels. The 2 white pins must point UP. Press the top button on the trigger to test: the small green light on the receiver should turn on and fire the flash. Then mount the trigger on your camera (manual mode).
Softbox adapters:
- NEEWER heads go with small rectangular softboxes
- The large Fusion flash stays on its tripod with the large softbox
- Other flashes go with octagonal softboxes
For the LED wall:
locate the small $ symbol. Slide your hand behind the frame, find the extension, and press ON/OFF.
Paper backgrounds
Sets & props
You may use anything in the studio (furniture, sets, props) EXCEPT 'private' cubes. Lift furniture, do not drag. Return everything to its place; do not remove curtains.
Music
Chromecast available on lounge TV; studio TV is also smart (YouTube, Netflix). Return remotes before leaving. Bluetooth speaker under studio TV. Industrial area, noise possible. Complete silence not guaranteed (gym above).
Kitchen
Kitchen available: microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, plates, and utensils. Wash dishes before leaving or fees apply. Coffee machine and cups available.
Cleaning
You must leave the studio as you found it. Broom and Swiffer in bathroom cabinet. No powder or glitter allowed.
V-FLAT & plexi
Two V-flats (white and black) are available (rack near bathroom). Use to block or reflect light. Handle carefully. Plexi available only with permission.
Before/after photos
The studio is autonomous, based on Communauto principles. Upon arrival, photograph the studio’s condition. Do the same when leaving to prove cleaning; penalties apply to offenders, not you.

- TURN OFF lights
- Ensure door is locked
- Text us when leaving to rearm the alarm
